Heavy edgewear. Heavy chipping to the crown, foot and corners. Slight dampstaining to the upper gith and bottom corner and bottom left of front board and bottom and center of rear board. Bumped corners. Heavy soiling to the backstrip. Dime sized scuff to the upper right center of the rear board. Page edges and pages age toned. Heavy chipping and erosion to the upper and bottom corners and bottom-edge of the first two pages. Slight dampstaining to the upper half of the first page-page 21 and to the bottom edge center of pages 729-rear pastedown. Small paper with early inked notes glued to the bottom gutter of page 25. Early inked notes to the bottom gutter of page 1, the bottom of page 31 and to the upper center of page 32, notes bled through. Creasing to the upper corner of pages 393-580. Rear hinge starting to crack. Large papers with early inked notes glued to the upper gutter of page 19. Marginal penciled markings to a few pages throughout.
