Heavy edgewear. Heavy chipping to the crown, foot, corners and near corner of the top-edge of the rear board, with erosion to the crown. Bottom corner edge of the rear board skinned. Light soiling and rubbing to the boards. Heavy chipping and rubbing to the spine. Joints starting to crack. Small labels removed from lower center and upper right of the front board. Slight dampstaining to the bottom half of page 524, lower gutter and right side of page 521, entire center and upper corner of page 520 and lower 1/3 page page 517. Inked underlining to page 125. Front hinge starting to crack. Title page starting to detach. Endpapers soiled. Pages age toned. Medium sized owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, bookplate slightly dampstained.
