Kirsten Dixon, one of Alaska’s foremost chefs, began her culinary adventures at the wilderness lodge she and her husband Carl built along the banks of the Yentna River. They raised their two young daughters and shared great fishing and great food with guests from around the world at Riversong Lodge. In the years since she first experimented with fresh fish caught from the river and vegetables from their wilderness garden, her cooking and cookbooks have earned her international recognition from culinary luminaries such as Jacques Pepin and the James Beard Foundation.
