As a young photographer, Jacques Lowe was assigned to photograph and up-and-coming Washington attorney named Robert Kennedy. Mr. Lowe's work impressed the Kennedy family so much that Joseph Kennedy asked that his other son, then U.S. Senator John F. Kennedy, be photographed as well.
