Author Viola Lampkin is shown on the front cover, while both Viola Lampkin and editor Barbara Clagett are shown on the rear cover. 74pp. 7 illustrated section dividers. Inscribed by the author "To // Bake, Broil or Broil, - // Enjoy! // Best Wishes // Viola Lampkin, Brown" on the front inside cover. Fair book. The cover shows light shelfwear, is lightly soiled and stained along the edges, and is missing a middle tooth on the plastic comb spine. Approximately 60 pages are slightly dampstained along the fore and bottom edges. There is a small pink stain on page 19. A few pages show indention marks from an inserted paper clip. Viola Roberts Lampkin Brown is noted for being a member of the exclusive supercentenarian club, reaching the age of 110 before her passing in 2022. She was at the time the oldest living person in Virginia. Her book has been praised for it's simplicity and the deliciousness of the recipes.
