Isabella Iverson has been chosen to be to the Liberator of Brooms, a position she never knew existed. As it turns out, there are a lot of things she knows nothing about—the Adirondack Society of Witches; that her mother is the Savior of the Brooms, the very person who chose the Liberator of Brooms; and that her long lost father Padraic actually disappeared. When Isabella’s mother sends her to clean the basement, she trips over an old radio and injures her foot. While trying to pull herself together, she discovers a hidden room filled with barrels and barrels of old brooms.
