My objective, when I write poetry, is to express emotions, have a little fun, convey an image or maybe tell a story.Poems should build an emotional bridge between the reader and writer. They shouldn't wear you out or leave you entangled in a forest of words. But the message shouldn't be lazy either. The words should have a little depth so that you can peel back a layer or two and see what is inside.I hope you are able to cross the bridge and and like what you find on the other side.Glenn K.
