Pale blue stiff card folder with cloth hinges and red and black spine text, and pale blue paper slipcase. 226pp. French. Engraved and colored plates, B/W chapter headers, footers, and in-text illustrations, and color drop caps at start of each chapter. Limited edition; #128/285 copies one velin blanc de rives, specially made and watermarked. Near fine book in good folder and slipcase. Slipcase is toned and foxed. Moderate shelfwear, and silverfishing to bottom edge. Folder spine is toned and silverfished, with some loss to titling. Small dampstain to inside head of spine. Book is bright and white, but glassine toned. Very minor foxing to page edges, and tissue guards toned with one lacking, else pristine. A beautiful copy of this uncommon work.
