German. 66 beautifully engraved copper plates. Reading copy only. Front board lacking. Rear hinge cracked. Rear board and spine dirty and quite rubbed. Latches or straps torn off at fore-edge of rear board. Page edge dye faded. A few small splits to foot of spine. Owner's name dated 1880 inked to front endpage. Initial pages loosening and pages 3-6 detached. Age-typical foxing and small stains throughout, typical for the age. Inside generally neat and clean, and binding firm.
