Slightly slanted. Corners gently bumped with a touch of wear. Spine and board edges are slightly discolored, and there are a couple of small flecks on the front board. There is a gifter's inscription dated Xmas 1937 on the front endpage. Age toned. The jacket is foxed with a sunned spine. The front panel's lower corner is price clipped, and the bottom edge along with the joints and spine of the top edge are taped to the underside.
