Meslin. The author's copy with his personalized bookplate with the inscription "The wicked borroweth and returneth not" to the front endpage. His address label is affixed below. Good Book. Edges worn and partially scraped with frayed corners. The spine is sunned and the joints rubbed. There are a few scratches to the rear board along with three .5"-1" scrapes. Internally Near Very Good with the plate between pages 198 and 199 slightly dampstained at the upper right corner. Age toned along the leaf edges.
