Hardcover is quarter-leather with brown spine leather and brown mottled glossy paper boards. Six stamped gilt bands to spine, with text in second and fourth compartments. Original paper wrap is pale green with simple black text. Top edge of text block dyed red. 85pp. Portugese. Inscribed by author to fourth dedication page verso. A good book in near-fine binding with corners very gently rubbed and hinge leather creased. Original front cover is foxed, with small damp spots and dark dampstain, 2x1.5 inches, to bottom edge. Early notation inked to top fore corner. Cover reinforced with brown paper pasted to verso. Pencil notation to title page and "Proposicoes" verso at rear. Early ink modification to text of second dedication page. Dampstain to lower corner of pages 85-Proposicoes. Foxing throughout. Inquire if you need further information.
