Baltimore: Baltimore Plenary Council, 1866. 4to quarter-leather hardcover in purple cloth with black leather spine. The spine has been repaired with brown tape, and corners reinforced with same. Paper label to front board bearing handwritten inscription that appears to read "12 // Epus Burlingtoniensis." 176 pp. Latin. Two fold-out plates demonstrating forms for recording church events such as marriage or baptism. A fair book. Exlib with barcode and call number stickers to top left corner of front board. Library stamp with handwritten alterations and "20504" in blue pencil to page i. Pocket to rear pastedown. Edges skinned and scrape to remaining exposed leather on front board. 1.5 inch damp spot to front board near spine. Cloth quite faded. Front hinge broken, and pages i-iv loose. Title and copyright pages possibly lacking. Rear hinge cracked and taped. Light pencil marginalia throughout. Although the condition of the book as a whole is delicate, the pages are in quite good condition and perfectly supple. Appears to be only one on WorldCat. Inquire if you need further information.
