Vol. 2: rear boards stained (dye?), corners fraying. Vols. 3-4 in better condition. Vol. 1: Slightly dampstained at top page edges. Hinges and binding starting. P. 81 torn; next two leaves chipped. Red stain (dye?) on pp. 152-53. Vol. 2: Binding cracked at signatures 8, 18, and 19; starting elsewhere. Slightly dampstained on front page edges. Vol. 3: Ex-library. Owner's bookplate on front pastedown. Library bookplate on front free endpage; card pocket removed from rear pastedown; shelfmark removed from spine. No other evidence of library use. Minor dampstains at lower edge. Binding is the best of the entire set. Vol. 4: Owner's bookplate on front pastedown. Binding starting at singature 8. Red stain (dye?) on part of front page edges.
