Heavy chipping to the crown, foot and corners, with slight erosion to the crown. 2 inch crack to the bottom rear joint and 1 1/2 inch crack to the bottom front joint. Light soiling to the boards. Spine toned. Joints and board edges faded. Small chip to the upper front joint. Page edges age toned. Slight dampstaining to the bottom corner of pages 339-354 and to the bottom corner and bottom fore-edge of page 355-rear free endpaper. 1 inch crack to the bottom front hinge. Blank white paper label with red border to the top-edge of the front free endpaper. Penciled previous owner's intials: 'S. Lo. // S. J. L // S. J. L' to the upper front free endpaper and 'S. L.' to the uper title page. Blue inked previous owner's signature: 'Andrew Ewing' to the center of the front free endpaper. Penciled previous owner's signature: 'Thomas Aguandoc' to the center of the verso second rear free endpaper. Penciled vertical notes: 'Randall [Graua?] Son of Felix.' to the fore-edge of page 95.
