Collectible - Acceptable

Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1880. 6 volumes. Tall 4to. Brown leather with 5 raised gilt ruled spine bands, gilt volume number to spine and "Longfellow" in gilt to the front. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Illustrations. Near good set. Edges and joints rubbed. Volume 1 scraped along the lower 4" of the front fore-edge. The front hinge beginning to crack; the front free endpaper split 2/3 from the lower hinge. Volume 2's spine's lower 3/4" erose and upper front joint split 2 1/2". Hinges stressed. Slight dampstaining to the upper corner of a few pages in the front. Volume 3's FFEP split about half way. Volume 4 and 6's front hinge lightly cracked. The rear hinge of Volume 5 stressed. Apart from the endpages, the vast majority of the interior of each volume in very nice condition! Inquire if you need further information.
