Description

The purpose of this study was to develop a methodology to assess the impact of climate change on water at high elevations, and ultimately and how that might affect finance. A climate analysis was developed to define future climate scenarios, and an analysis of mountain hydrology developed to complement existing tools with elements that incorporate the dynamic behavior of glaciers and páramos. These were then applied at the watershed level, and the results compared with different approaches. The study is not indexed. Annotation ©2011 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com) Read More
