This report, issued by the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, presents the results of a study of the roles and responsibilities of state and federal governments in supporting immunization programs and services. In particular, the study considered the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Section 317 program, which helps states to pay for vaccination programs.
