At the end of WWII, Matt Busby took over a weakened squad in a bomb-damaged stadium, and built the Reds into one of England’s most formidable clubs. Then, in February 1956, a plane crash killed several Manchester players, including the incomparable Duncan Edwards, and Busby had to begin all over again.
