Nell (Young), is the granddaughter of high-ranking public official Mac MacDermott (Bochner) - who wants to see her follow the same career path that he did. Unfortunately, her husband Adam is under investigation for his possible involvement in shady real estate dealings. When Adam and some of his business partners are killed, Nell sets out to prove his innocence.
