This book/CD-ROM package contains forms for everyday legal tasks. An introductory chapter gives general instructions on notarization and resolving disputes. Each chapter gives background on the purpose of each form, and step-by-step, plain-language instructions for filling it out and using it. Forms are provided in a separate section of the book, and on the CD-ROM. Chapters also contain tips, cautions, background on relevant law, and links to useful web sites. The forms run the gamut, from estate planning to buying, selling, or renting a house or other property, hiring household help, forms for married and unmarried couples, and settling legal disputes. There is also a request to begin the special education process, and an identity theft worksheet. Warner is a pioneer of the DIY law movement. Leonard has written other books on law for the publisher.
