"With greater demands on time, various learning styles within the classroom, and a growing numbers of kids per class, teachers must work smarter, not harder. Project-based learning is a viable approach to reaching all learners. This comprehensive teacher resource provides 30 progressive, multilevel projects that offer opportunities for teachers to expand the thinking of all students and for students to learn broad-based thinking on their own terms. Arranged by grade levels and content areas, these projects have a direct tie to regular curriculum areas and meet or exceed current standards for any school district. Teachers may choose a more determined outcome for each project, or together the teacher and students may work to decide the greatest learning opportunity available from each project. Guided questions aid teachers in establishing baseline discussions to further studentsÆ thinking on each topic. Each project has a multitude of resources and outcomes available, and questions and activities accompany each stage of the project. A list of potential literature and resources such as government entities, Internet sites, and publications are included with each project. Also included are sample rubrics and an explanatory rubric guide."
