This volume, published on the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of The Museum of Modern Art and the opening of its new building, is a comprehensive overview of its painting and sculpture collection. The works selected for this publication reflect the richness of the collection, which is distinguished by masterworks as well as less-well-known examples of painting and sculpture.Accompanying these images are texts drawn from the Museum's archives and publications, which span a seventy-five-year period.
