Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott, 1868. Presumed 1st edition. Sm 8vo hardcover. Green cloth with gilt lettering to the spine, brown endpapers. 322pp + 2pp of Lippincott's "Entertaining New Books" and "Valuable Works" in rear. Near Good former library copy. Slightly slanted with wear to the spine tips and corners. The boards and spine show a bit of rubbing and insecting. Library notaion and stamp to the title page. Library pocket and label have been torn from the rear endpapers. A few pages are chipped and a couple of signatures are loosening.
