Features tips for entertaining children, including taking a child to work for the day, reading the funnies together, planting a tree, and more
Ask your child to create a piece of art that you can frame and hang up at work. Check out a library book on constellations and take your child into the backyard at night for some stargazing. On a rainy day, make a fortress out of blankets and couch cushions in which you and your child can read, play a game, or just hide out. Mail a surprise-a card, tape, or book-to your child from your office. It's very grown-up to get goodies in the mail! Schedule a special time to rent your child's favorite movie. Then pop some popcorn and watch the movie together on the floor.
