A teenage coming-of-age film that offers a uniquely Mexican perspective on life, La Segunda Noche is a delicate comedy about the lives of four young girls. A companion piece to Alejandro Gamboa's 1998 movie La Primera Noche, the director focuses on similar subject matter as he explores the world of teenage relationships at the end of the 20th century. Big topics such as sex, love and attraction play on the girls' minds as they work their way through adolescence.
